Halloween crack is one of the best Halloween treats to make. It has the salty and sweet flavor that every loves and it's super easy to make.

Ingredients
  

Refrigerated and Dairy
  • 1 cup butter, unsalted
Baking, Spices and Condiments
  • 1 1/2 sleeves saltine crackers
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup Colored sugar, Halloween colors

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Completely cover a cookie sheet with foil including over the edges. Spray with non-stick spray. Line with saltine crackers.
  3. Heat saucepan to medium heat. Add butter and brown sugar to pan.
  4. Stir as butter melts to combine. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Once browned and starting to bubble, stir in salt.
  5. Pour caramel on crackers and spread evenly with spatula.
  6. Place in oven for roughly 2-3 minutes or until the caramel starts bubbling.
  7. Remove from oven. Spread chocolate chips evenly on the caramel. Place back in the oven for roughly 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and use a spatula to spread the chocolate evenly over the caramel. Immediately decorate with sprinkles and colored sugar.
  9. Let cool 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
