These mermaid mules are super delicious and super trendy this summer. Moscow Mules have become quite popular again and here is the latest twist to the classic mule.
These drinks are not only great for the summer but can be enjoyed all year long.

Where Did the Name Moscow Mule Come From?
Being I’ve been a bartender for 18 years, the answer to this is pretty much what I would have guessed it to be.
Moscow, the capital of Russia, is because of the ingredient of vodka. As we all know, vodka is often associated with Russia. This is because it’s usually the only alcohol served because it is by far the most profitable for bar and tavern owners.
Most simply don’t even offer beer or wine.
The mule part is because of the “kick” you get from the ginger beer. Kick…. donkey… mule… get it?
So there you have it. That’s why it’s called a Moscow mule.
Why is it Called a Mermaid Mule?
The name simply comes from the color of the cocktail.
Mermaids are often associated with greens, blues, and purples, or a mixture/ombre of all three.
