Keeping the kids busy is always the task at hand. That’s why I created this free printable list of kid’s activities for you.

Occupying the kids can be a daunting task considering they are ready to go 100 mph all day long. We as parents have a hard enough time trying to keep up with them and the last thing we want to hear is that they are bored.

Whether it be a seasonal break, holiday breaks, a pandemic, or simply those long weekends, we have to keep them entertained.

How I Use This Kid’s Activities Checklist

I keep this list printed out on the fridge. I highlight 7 kid’s activities, 1 for each day of the week, and let my older son decide which activity he wants to get done that day.

I like doing this for a couple of reasons. The first is because it gives him something to look forward to. He knows that every week I will highlight 7 new activities for him to choose from.

Secondly, it allows him to make a decision on his own and be in control of which activity he does that day.

I think this is his favorite part because he is a super bossy child and always wants to be running the show. (He definitely gets that from his father!)

Lastly, it gets him talking. I get to learn more about his likes and dislikes. Even with something as minor as this kid’s activities checklist, he ventures into so many other topics that sparked from the list.

I simply love learning about who my ‘not so little baby’ is becoming. I just love the continued memories being made and am enjoying every little giggle that comes with these activities we do as a family.

What you Don’t Want to Forget

Don’t forget to take pictures and then put the phone AWAY!

Enjoy this time with your kids before they don’t want to hang out with you anymore.
